Volunteer

We rely on a dedicated group of volunteers for a variety of tasks — primarily ushering and ticket taking at peformances.

Ushering Overview

Ushers are scheduled to arrive 1 hour prior to the start of the show. We ask that ushers dress semi-casually (no jeans or sneakers). Rresponsibilities include stuffing programs, collecting tickets, seating patrons, selling merchandise and handing out programs. All ushers will be able to see the entire performance. Seats to view the production are not guaranteed and depend on how many seats have been sold for that particular performance.

Our family of volunteer ushers is very important to the daily operations at Woolly, so all ushers must sign up in advance. We will not accept night-of walk ups.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer usher at Woolly, please download the Ushering at Woolly Request Form. You can email, fax or mail this back to us. Once your completed form is received you will get a confirmation email listing your ushering dates and an Usher Welcome Packet for the current season. Please note: ushers are scheduled in a first come, first served space availability basis. We will not sell, lease or distribute volunteer usher information to anyone.
